Drawing is a great outlet for what you as a unique individual can see and feel in your own unique way and what you wish to communicate to others. Drawings can change the world. Drawings (and paintings, etc.) can make social statements (such as Picasso's huge painting "Guernica" which protests the slaughter of innocents in war), religious statements (such as Leonardo Da Vinci's "The Last Supper"), romantic or philosophical statements (such as Marc Chagall's paintings of lovers flying in the air surrounded by stars and flowers). Express yourself!
Even if you do not consider yourself an artist, the benefits to you as an Observer who has learned to draw are there to be USED in life.
