When you overcome considerations that you can't do it (or can't do it well), you gain considerable confidence. Competence in any skill is a confidence-builder.
ANYONE CAN DRAW. Really.
The two reasons for lack of ability to draw are:
- Someone invalidated/mocked your artwork or was puzzled ("What IS it?") especially as a child.
- Noone taught you HOW to draw or how to SEE analytically as an artist does.
