2006-09-29: Message from the Executive Director

It has been an extremely busy and productive year for Worthgold.
Carol Worthey's dual career as a painter has shifted into high-gear and I'm please to say that we will have gallery quality limited edition gliclée reproductions available very soon for most of her major works.
After four months work, the major upgrades for both 'carolworthey.com' and 'worthgold.com' are finally complete enough that as of September 25th I'm pleased to announce that the changes have been propagated to the Internet and you are seeing that result within this page!
Additionally, we have been working on a project to rescan and convert all of Carol's written music into a digital printing format to make even more works available. Although this project is just getting going, all of the bugs in the process have now been eliminated and the test printings are of excellent quality.
Nor is that all we have in store, there are more changes and upgrades in the works. These are just the first steps.
There are many decisions and practical compromises that must be taken into account when doing a complete re-design of a website. I hope you'll find the path we took to be pleasing and informative. Your help and comments are appreciated. Please take a moment to contact me if you should spot a typo within the text or just to let me know how you like the changes. Your views and assistance help us to make both sites just that much better!
It is my primary goal to make all of Carol's extensive catalog of works available to the public as soon as possible.
